Interuniversity Scientific Research Laboratory, which included medical-genetic, molecular-cellular, pharmaco-toxicological and biological research departments (hereinafter abbreviated as ISRL) was created on the basis of:
- The order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-1533 dated May 20, 2011 “Measures to strengthen the material and technical base of the higher education institutions and to improve the quality of training of highly qualified specialists” (Appendix No. 5).
- The order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-2909 dated April 20, 2017 “On measures for the further development of the higher education system” (Appendix No. 2).
- The order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-2848 dated March 22, 2017 On measures to implement the project “Strengthening the material and technical base of higher educational institutions” with the participation of the International Development Association.
- The concepts, agreement and duties of the ISRL employees were revised and approved on February 27, 2014.
The Interuniversity Scientific Research Laboratory is considered a scientific subdivision of Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA), and is included in its structure. It is the general scientific, methodological and advisory center of the TMA.
The activity of the ISRL is directly related to the academic and scientific work of the TMA. Scientific directions are carried out on the basis of the state grants approved by the Committee for the Coordination of the Development of Science and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The ISRL is guided by the regulatory and legal documents related to the activities of the research institutions.
The ISRL has the right to organize the inter-university cooperation between universities, institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, enterprises and organizations (business agreements, collaboration, scientific and technical cooperation) within the framework of the integration of education and science.
